Welcome,
To Tropical Marine Ecology, a 5p web-based undergraduate course.
The goal is to give students greater insight into the different integrated components of a tropical seascape. Special focus is given to the interactions between these ecosystems and the anthropogenic impacts that they are exposed to.
The course is administered by the Department of Systems Ecology, Stockholm University.

Your course guide
In order to achieve the goals of this course you need to do 2 things. 1) read through all the material and send in the filled out answers to the study questions for the ecosystem types. 2) write 4 essays on any combinations between the different tropical marine systems and the common topics that you find listed when you click on any of the system specific links. The course will close on the 14 january. All assignments have to be sent in before this date.
